There are many resources available for caregivers, but it can be difficult to know where to start. The resources below will help you learn more about the challenges you and your loved one are facing plus give you an idea of what help is available. Contact Reliant to learn more or with any questions you might have.

Alzheimer’s & Dementia

Alzheimer’s Foundation of America

The AFA is one of the biggest resources available for those struggling with Alzheimer’s. Their website offers educational resources for caregivers, free online memory screening tests, information about available grants, and much more. If you’ve recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or have a loved one who has been, this is a good resource to start with.

Alzheimer Association

The Alzheimer Association website is another great resource for those new to the disease. The site includes good introductory educational materials, including specific materials for caregivers, as well as a database of local resources.

Dementia Society of America

The Dementia Society offers more resources and information, including a free online cognitive screening, podcasts focused on dementia, and educational materials. While much of these resources will apply to those with Alzheimer’s, they also have resources for other forms of dementia.
